Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented New Graduate UX Test Engineer to join our Validation team in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will bridge design and engineering, executing testing strategies to validate usability, accessibility, and interface performance as part of our in-house validation efforts. As a new graduate, you will receive mentorship from senior validation engineers, work on industry-leading software, and contribute to user-centric quality.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, HMI, UX Design, or related field; graduating by December 2026.
• Foundational knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual & automated).
• Programming: basic scripting in C/C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• UX fundamentals: knowledge of design principles and responsive layout validation.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Test Plan Development: design and implement validation scripts for user journeys and visual consistency.
• Automation Engineering: build and maintain automated UI test suites to improve validation throughput.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with UX Designers and Product Managers to refine requirements.
• Defect Management: track UI/UX defects through lifecycle using Jira or similar tools.
