Job summary

Symbotic is seeking Software Engineers to contribute to core software that orchestrates inventory into the system and enables efficient order fulfillment for customers. You will work in a creative, collaborative, agile environment, with opportunities to design, develop and test features across the stack.

Responsibilities include building real-time distributed software, evolving toward microservices with .NET Core, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and Redis, and applying tools like C#, SQL, WPF, Angular,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Object oriented design and programming concepts; C# or Java preferred.
• Experience with Linux and its commands.
• Experience with source control, unit testing, and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with developing unit tests and test automation frameworks.
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly in a dynamic agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Play a hands-on role designing, developing, reviewing and testing new functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to implement features based on new requirements.
• Design and develop real-time distributed software to orchestrate inventory induction and order fulfillment.
• Evolve software architecture toward microservices using .NET Core, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ and Redis.
• Support development with C#, SQL, WPF, Angular, LINQ, ASP.NET and Docker.
