Job summary

Visa is seeking a New College Graduate Software Engineer in Austin, TX to join one of our technology organizations and work on impactful digital payments projects from day one. You will write optimized, secure, scalable code, collaborate in Agile teams, and build end-to-end solutions addressing business needs while leveraging Generative AI tools as part of daily work.

Required: bachelor's or master's in CS/CE/CIS/MIS, cybersecurity or related field, graduation 2026-2027, less than 6 months

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field
• Graduating May 2026 - August 2027
• Less than 6 months of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Go)
• Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience with automation tools, REST APIs, and test frameworks (Selenium)
• Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS), databases (MySQL), or data visualization (Power BI)
• Understanding of Generative AI tools and concepts, framework usage, integration, prompt design
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, and version control
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly, collaborate effectively, and adapt to complex challenges
• Clear written and verbal communication skills appropriate for professional settings

Responsibilities

• Write optimized, secure, and scalable code following industry best practices (e.g., unit testing, code reviews).
• Develop solutions that support both product and technology objectives.
• Build end-to-end technology solutions addressing business needs.
