Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, OH is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 2M Med/Surg & Telemetry Unit. The role includes night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with weekend and holiday requirements and a one-year Nurse Residency program spanning nine tracks.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, current RN licensure, and BLS certification. A shift differential of $5/hour applies, and relocation and loan repayment opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
Current RN license in the state.
BLS certification through the AHA or Red Cross.
New graduate RN or under 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in a residency core curriculum.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patient preference, resources).
Initiate and/or maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe/effective care.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate action.
Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
Document in patients’ medical records.
