Sentara Health is offering a Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated Registered Nurses with less than 12 months of experience. This program provides the skills and support needed to transition into professional practice across multiple Sentara hospital locations in Virginia Beach, VA.

New graduates can expect hands-on experience under experienced preceptors, with rotations through Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Operating Room, and Women’s Health.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or eligible in Virginia
• Graduate of accredited RN program
• Graduating soon or with less than one year of RN practice

Responsibilities

• Participate in Sentara Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated RNs
• Receive hands-on experience in six areas: Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Operating Room, and Women’s Health
• Learn from trained preceptors and develop professional skills and leadership abilities
