Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse for the Progressive Transitional Care Unit in Florence, SC. This on-site role involves starting with supervision under a licensed RN, completing orientation, and delivering age-appropriate nursing care across shifts.

The Graduate Nurse will assess patients, plan individualized care, perform physician-guided interventions, and may float to other units as needed. A valid BLS is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate Nurse must work under supervision of a licensed RN.
• Graduate Nurse is not eligible if they have failed the license exam.
• Must possess a valid BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical exam and diagnostic data.
• Plan individualized nursing care to meet age-specific needs.
• Provide nursing interventions per Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Float to assist in other like units as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
