Job summary

MemorialCare Health System is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatrics-MCH West unit in Long Beach. This full-time night-shift position offers an opportunity to practice under direct supervision, with precepted guidance and a focus on delivering safe, cost-effective care to pediatric patients at Miller Children’s Hospital.

Qualified candidates hold a California RN license, BLS/CPR/AED, and a BSN, and have graduated from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• A current California RN license is required.
• A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification is also required.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is also required.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by NEC.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist in patient care planning, implementation and evaluation per standards of practice.
