Jobtailor is offering a 12-month transition-to-practice program for new graduate nurses in Texas. You will participate in a comprehensive evidence-based nursing curriculum and develop skills toward a competent level of practice within a cohort-focused support model.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, GPA 3.0+, current Texas RN license or temporary permit, and BLS certification. External applicants must specify a unit of choice at many locations and submit a resume.

Qualifications

  • New graduate nurse; cohort available for December 2026 graduates.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher in an accredited nursing program.
  • Completion of a nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN preferred.
  • Current Texas RN license or temporary permit.
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
  • External applicants require a BSN except at Northeast, Sugar Land, Southeast, and Pearland locations, where ADN applicants are accepted.
  • External applicants for Children’s, Cypress, Greater Heights, Katy, Memorial City, Southwest, The Woodlands, and TMC must specify a unit of choice.
  • Current resume required.
  • Letters of recommendation optional.
  • Cover letter optional.
