Job summary

Advocate Health’s nursing team is seeking a dedicated RN for full-time 36-hour weeks at the Union West location. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient/family engagement, and seamless care across the continuum.

You will participate in governance and quality initiatives while delivering high-quality nursing care. Responsibilities include assessing and planning patient care, collaborating with the care team, and maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) served.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives to improve care.
• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Uphold a culture of safety and quality outcomes.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and collaborate with the care team.
• Float to other units as needed within service area.
