Qualifications

• New Graduate up to six months of RN experience.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Virginia RN license or compact license.
• AHA BLS Provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required for certain specialties.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individualized patient assessments and prioritizes data according to policies/protocols.
• Develops individualized care plans with measurable goals after consultation with patient and health care team.
• Performs treatments and nursing interventions as ordered by provider.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the care plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families and supports patient autonomy and rights.
