Job summary

You will practice using the nursing process, participate in a multidisciplinary team, and support patient and family education while meeting unit goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligible via MD Compact agreements.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Ability to learn and use computer systems to manage patient information.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Nurse must adhere to unit protocols and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care using the nursing process as the framework for practice.
• Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Engage patient/family in care and education per guidelines.
• Support education and onboarding for new learners and orientation periods.
• Assist with data collection and unit quality initiatives.
• Contribute to patient safety and regulatory readiness.
