Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Registered Nurse in Durham, NC to provide and supervise total nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs in a patient-centered atmosphere. This role requires NC RN licensure, BLS, and ongoing education; candidates must have a BSN within two years if not already held, and ED preceptorship or ED clinical hours are preferred.

Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required
• Registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date
• Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience Preferred: Preceptorship in a ED or clinical hours in an ED , EMT or Paramedic experience
• Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse OR current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina required
• BLS (or higher) certification required

• Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
