Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the dialysis team in Virginia. You will deliver safe, high‑quality ESRD care under supervision, educate patients about their condition and treatment, and coordinate with physicians and staff to maintain optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active nursing license with timely state registration, plus a current temporary permit where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months.
• Must obtain nursing license and registration within the timelines defined by state regulations, or within 90 days from hire.
• Current appropriate state Temporary Permit.
• Must meet state practice requirements where employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis patient care per physician orders.
• Educate patients on ESRD, dialysis, and treatment compliance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust treatment as needed.
• Document labs, medications, and patient education accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and participate in CQI activities.
• Maintain clean, safe dialysis environment and equipment.
