Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) New Graduate for the Charleston location, on a 7-7 night shift with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital focuses on post-ICU rehabilitation for critically ill patients and offers extensive orientation and career development.

New graduates will begin with a 10-13 week orientation with a dedicated preceptor, with opportunities for BSN through a company-paid scholarship and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS required at hire.
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physician and preceptor to implement the assessment plan and follow-up of the care plan for the patient population.
• Conduct ongoing systematic assessments of physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of patients/families.
• Develop nursing care plans with problems, diagnoses, orders, interventions and discharge goals.
• Participate as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in rehabilitation goal setting and evaluation.
• Ensure that medical records are complete, accurate and timely.
