Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians to develop individualized care plans.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, professional growth, and teamwork, with a focus on safety and evidence-based practices for adults with complex cardiac conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license (state-specific).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: ACLS certification; NIH Stroke Scale certification; telemetry/critical care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care aligned with evidence-based practices and standards.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses, intervening promptly as needed.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety practices.
