Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a registered nurse for the 5C Medicine Telemetry unit at Allegheny General Hospital. You will provide nurse-led care across a diverse adult population, using assessment, planning and execution of care plans.

Role requires PA RN licensure (or eNLC), CPR, and state/federal background clearances. Full-time schedule includes 72 hours every two weeks with rotating weekends and holidays, on-site at AGH.

Qualifications

• Valid PA RN license or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Act 34 Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Background Clearance.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for designated patient population using the nursing process.
• Demonstrate clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and execute the plan of care from admission to discharge.
• Educate patients and families respecting age, culture and learning needs.
