Qualificações

• Active RN license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure prior to start date.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred or obtained within specified timeframe.
• Completion of accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Participation in a nurse residency program is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care under RN preceptor guidance.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and assist with treatments.
• Document care in the EHR and communicate changes in patient status promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Engage in classroom education, simulations, and skills labs as part of the residency curriculum.
• Observe and follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards in all patient care activities.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and health promotion.

Participate in a structured nurse residency program focused on developing clinical competence and confidence in a hospital setting

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population under RN preceptor guidance
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and assist with treatments and procedures per policies
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record and communicate changes in patient status promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care
• Engage in classroom education, simulations, and skills labs as part of the residency curriculum
• Observe and follow infection prevention, safety, and quality standards in all patient care activities
