Children’s National Hospital is offering a 12-month Pediatric Nurse Residency Program designed to transition the nurse resident into a professional nurse role with guidance from experienced staff and educators. The program includes HR and unit-based orientation, plus acute and critical care tracks to expand clinical proficiency.

The role is full-time, involves day/night rotations, and requires an DC/MD/VA RN license with CPR certification. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN is required to practice as RN.
• BSN degree is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities
