Qualifications

• Completion of nursing program and eligibility to licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• Must obtain Missouri licensure to remain employed in a health system.
• Role is safety-sensitive; requires alertness and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment care.
• Uses critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care with the healthcare team.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts plans throughout the stay.
