Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Novice Nurse - Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with <12 months of experience for their home-based care training program. You will work 1-on-1 with a patient in the home while receiving real-time feedback, mentorship, and hands-on practice.

The program teaches direct patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking with 24/7 clinical supervision support, plus competitive pay, paid training, and rich benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active LPN/LVN license.
• Current CPR.
• PPD or chest X-Ray if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and monitors effectiveness.
• Intervenes and reports changes in condition to supervisor/physician.
• Documents coordination of care in medical records and communicates needed info.
• Monitors environment and equipment safety including universal precautions.
