Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking a registered nurse to join the Emergency Trauma Center, delivering direct patient care across all ages. You will participate in assessment, planning, and evaluation while coordinating with surgical, ICU, and ancillary teams in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a State approved School of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board or temporary permit.
• Experience: Hospital-based experience; ED experience preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC as applicable per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across age groups including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in the Emergency Trauma Center workflow and residency programs.
• Engage in a fast-paced, team-based environment within a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke center.
