Job summary

PF Plumbing is seeking an experienced New Construction Manager to own our residential and commercial new construction plumbing business from bid through final inspection. You will lead Field Managers and an Estimator, ensuring profitability, scheduling, and high-quality installations.

This leadership role requires strong business and field acumen, with responsibility for winning work, maintaining margins, and coordinating with builders, general contractors and superintendents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential or light commercial new construction plumbing experience.
• 2+ years leading crews or supervisors.
• Proven experience selling to or managing relationships with builders and general contractors.
• Experience with takeoffs and estimating.
• Strong understanding of job costing.
• Working knowledge of local plumbing codes.
• Knowledge of permitting and inspection processes.
• Comfortable using estimating software, CRM/bid-board systems, Excel and scheduling tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the master schedule across all active new construction projects.
• Coordinate underground, rough-in, top-out and trim/final phases.
• Communicate with builder superintendents weekly to confirm job readiness.
• Balance crews and workloads across Field Managers.
• Ensure builder deadlines and scheduled completion dates are met.
• Handle day-to-day challenges including callouts, weather, material issues.
• Forecast labor needs 30–90 days in advance.
• Visit active job sites regularly and participate in initial phases with new builders.
• Set priorities for Field Managers and conduct weekly production meetings.
• Coach and develop field leadership and perform performance reviews.
• Support hiring, onboarding and training of plumbers and apprentices.
