Job description

Bayonet Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, a division of IES, has openings for New Construction Plumbers/Residential Plumbers. Experienced Plumbers or Helpers, Phase Specialists, Sewer Crew, Rough‑In Specialists, and Three‑Phase Plumbers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications
  • Valid Florida driver’s license with a 3‑year clean driving record.
  • Punctual, reliable, and self‑motivated.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background screening.
Specific Qualifications (Work Environment)
  • Work is performed primarily on residential new construction job sites.
  • Employees may work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
  • Exposure to construction‑related noise, dust, and equipment is common.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
  • Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination required to operate tools and equipment safely.
Compensation
  • $20–$60 a fixture on straight time (depending on phase)
  • $30–$90 a fixture on overtime (depending on phase) – we pay overtime on piece rate, it’s the law!
