JENNMAR Services in Hillsboro, IL is hiring experienced and inexperienced underground coal miners for full-time work. The roles offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan, including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). No certification?

Not a problem — we are preparing for our next FREE 40-hour MSHA class to get you job-ready. You must be able to perform 8–12 hour shifts and pass screenings. Shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have 40-hour MSHA training.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check, drug screen, physical exam).
• Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have the physical ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Two forms of ID required.

PAY RATES

$20.00 (Inexperienced) to $22.00 (Experienced)

Job Responsibilities for Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Green Hat) Miners:

• General labor
• Roller and screen changes
• Steel sets
• Overcasts
• Jacks
• Seal preparation
• Pumpable cribs
• Scoop operating

Job Requirements for Experienced and Inexperienced Miners:

• 40-hour MSHA training
• 2 forms of ID
• Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required.
