New Car Porter - Job Summary

The Porter maintains the dealership's high customer service standards by staging vehicles, organizing lot inventory, maintaining service lane workflow, and assisting guests.
The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, moving vehicles safely, and executing light detail or shop upkeep tasks.

Vehicle & Lot Maintenance

• Lot Organization: Keep new, pre-owned, and service parking lots organized per Toyota presentation standards.

• Battery & Fluid Checks: Ensure all vehicles are taken to Quick Lube for quick vehicle health checks (battery testing, topping off fluids) when staging vehicles.

• Inventory Management: Transport vehicles to local overflow lots, vendors, or body shops as needed.

Facility Upkeep

• Maintain a clean service drive and dealership exterior (clear litter, sweep walkways, organize tools).

• Assist technician staff with shop cleanup and trash removal during downtime.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driver's License: Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean, acceptable driving record (required for dealership vehicle insurance).

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.

• Driving Abilities: Ability to safely operate automatic vehicles (ability to drive manual/stick-shift transmission is a plus).

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet outdoors for 8+ hour shifts in North Texas heat or seasonal cold.

• Screenings: Pass pre-employment background checks and drug testing.
