What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and set up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote the value of Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and enhance lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
