What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
- Establish rapport with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Book Fairs
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve outreach efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills with peers and customers

- Proven leadership abilities and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
