What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods
  • Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects and set up appointments for Account Managers
  • Build rapport with educators and administrators to highlight the value of Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and team members
