What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect and identify potential school and district partners through various outreach methods
- Qualify leads by understanding the needs and interests of prospects and set up appointments for Account Managers
- Build rapport with educators and administrators to highlight the value of Scholastic Reading Events
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress towards sales goals in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance outreach strategies and improve lead generation efficiency
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
- Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation and CRM software
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and team members

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a dynamic environment
- Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy execution
