What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Research and identify potential school and district partners through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Qualify prospects and set up appointments, passing qualified leads to Account Managers
  • Build relationships with educators and administrators to promote literacy through Scholastic Reading Events
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and track progress toward sales goals
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation efficiency and stay informed about industry trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or territory sales, event management, or customer service
  • Proficiency with MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or CRM software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and team members
