Job summary

Cintas is seeking a New Account Installer in Piscataway, NJ to ensure new customers are highly satisfied with our products and services. You will coordinate deliveries, install dispensers, and place items at customer locations while delivering in a company vehicle.

Responsibilities include interacting with customers and other departments, maintaining service standards, and lifting/delivering products with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license required and up-to-date medical certification.
• Must meet DOT requirements for driving a heavy vehicle (>10,000 lbs).
• Be at least 21 years old and able to provide past employment records.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate initial delivery of products to customers after sale.
• Install and repair bulk product dispensers using hand/power tools.
• Place uniforms, mats and products at mutually agreed locations.
• Deliver and unload products using company vehicle, lifting and walking as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional service tone.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. In order to comply with DOT requirements, qualified candidates must, prior to their first day of employment:

• Have an active driver's license
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Obtain a DOT medical certification
• Provide documentation regarding their previous employment

Preferred

• Customer service experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry
• Route sales experience
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Plumbing experience
• Availability to start within two weeks after offer made/accepted

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $22.14 - $27.89/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
