Pyatt Silvestri, a Las Vegas law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This full-time role is primarily in-office with potential limited hybrid arrangements after onboarding.

You will handle meaningful case work, develop litigation skills, and work with experienced attorneys in a collaborative, professional environment. Ideal candidates will have an interest in civil litigation and insurance defense and a desire to grow professionally under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in State Bar of Nevada in good standing.
• Interest in civil litigation and insurance defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned litigation matters under supervision of partners and senior attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, correspondence, etc.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurers.
• Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and resolution.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and ADR proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case files and litigation deadlines.
• Assist with trial preparation and proceedings as needed.
