Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital, part of UF Health Central Florida, is seeking an RN to join its advanced cardiovascular care and comprehensive health services. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess and care for patients, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and participate in ongoing education and quality initiatives.

Qualified candidates will hold an ADN with Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification, with BSN preferred and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• ADN required and RN license in Florida.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification required or completed during orientation.
• Excellent English communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Document care per departmental standards.
• Participate in committees, PI projects, and continuing education.
• Attend staff meetings and complete competencies and mandatory education.
