Ideal candidates will be fellowship-trained in Neurosurgical Oncology.

The National Cancer Institute ( NCI ) first designated the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in 1990. UNC’s system has been used as a model by other cancer centers and oncology programs nationwide.

The Neuro-Oncology program boasts an established clinical practice comprising Neuro-Oncologists and Neurosurgeons with special expertise and interest in brain tumors, and dedicated Radiation Oncologists with research and clinical expertise in fractionated and stereotactic radiosurgery, working closely within this multidisciplinary structure.
