Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and coordinates patient care.
• Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures, treatments, examinations, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reactions to drugs and treatments to provider.
• Oversees appointment scheduling and ensures priority in emergencies; maintains timely flow of patients.
• Greets patients and conducts nursing assessments, obtaining health history and vitals.
• Educates patients and families about diagnostic processes, medications, nutrition, and wellness.
• Maintains exam rooms with supplies and cleans; prepares lists of needed medical supplies.
• Responds to patient calls with input from the physician.
