Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital’s Neurosurgery Department seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator to support ongoing trials, investigator-initiated and retrospective studies, and to maintain subject and regulatory binders.

The ideal candidate has clinical research and patient-facing experience, with the ability to train staff, manage logistics, support IRB efforts, and contribute to study data management across the department’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Experience supporting IRB processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of research studies across the department and train new staff.
• Consent and enroll patients, explain study details, and evaluate suitability.
• Prepare IRB submissions and track approval.
• Coordinate study procedures with coordinating center and maintain regulatory binders.
• Create tracking systems to improve study operations and data management.
• Prepare data reports and summaries, and assist with publications and grant applications.
• Assist in preparing abstracts and manuscripts for publications.
