Job summary

St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is seeking a neurosurgeon to join Western Neuro, a long-established practice within a Level I Trauma Center. You will practice complex spine surgery, neurotrauma, skull base surgery, and cerebrovascular care alongside a multidisciplinary team.

This employed, full-time position offers dedicated PA/MA/Program Coordinator support, with OR blocks and clinic days designed around high-volume patient care and efficient scheduling. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery.
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Strong team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex spine, neurotrauma, skull base and cerebrovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Program Coordinator.
• Participate in stroke and cerebrovascular service management.
• Provide inpatient rounds and clinic duties.
• Maintain rapid call response and coverage.
• Contribute to a Level I Trauma Center team.
