Job summary

Washington Regional Medical System in Northwest Arkansas is seeking a hospital-based Neurosurgery Physician Assistant to join the Neuroscience Institute in Fayetteville. The PA will assist in the OR, round on inpatients, and provide outpatient care within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PA program with valid licensure and CPR certification; national certification is required, and 3+ years of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure and CPR required; national certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient care; assist in operating room and round on inpatients.
• Call rotation with other PAs.
• Order and perform diagnostic tests; prescribe and dispense medications.
• Educate patients and families on health problems and prevention.
