Job summary

Northwell Career Site seeks a Physician Assistant-led Advanced Clinical Provider supervisor to oversee daily operations in neurosurgery. You will interpret and implement policies, coordinate coverage, and respond to escalations from staff while supporting quality assurance initiatives.

You will liaise with related departments, contribute to teaching resources, and develop curricula for training Advanced Clinical Providers in compliance with regulatory standards and current legislation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Current License to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
• NCCPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and daily operations; ensure policies are interpreted and implemented consistently.
• Coordinate neurosurgery service coverage with daily/weekly schedules and on-call plans.
• Respond to escalations from direct reports and support quality assurance initiatives.
• Liaise with departments to improve volume, quality, and revenue generation.
• Develop teaching resources and curriculum for Advanced Clinical Provider training in compliance with regulations.
