Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program or RN/NP pathway with CA licensure.
• Masters Degree in Nursing or equivalent for NP role.
• Current California RN and NP licenses or PA license with CA certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and other required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collect subjective data (history) and objective data (physical exam).
• Develop assessment and diagnostic plan; order and interpret tests.
• Develop and implement management and education plans.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate facilities and resources.
• Maintain patient records with privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide post-discharge and follow-up care planning.
• Manage care of patients with complex medical or surgical conditions.
• Adhere to Kaiser Permanente policies, ethics and regulatory requirements.
