UCSF Health in Monterey, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a collaborative Neurosurgical APP group, caring for complex patients across the neurosurgical continuum. You will support General Neurosurgery, Neurovascular, and Neurointerventional services while contributing to inpatient and outpatient care.

You will work with world-class neurosurgeons within UCSF Health, advancing patient care through clinical excellence, education, and a formal APP career ladder that promotes mentorship

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARC-PA accredited PA program.
• One year PA experience in pain management, spine, neurosurgery, or orthopedics.
• California Physician Assistant license without restriction.
• National Board Certification from NCCPA.
• DEA registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 registered to a California address.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: two (2) years recent experience in a neurosurgical setting.

Responsabilités

• Join a collaborative Neurosurgical APP group managing complex patients across the neurosurgical continuum.
• Support patients across General Neurosurgery, Neurovascular, and Neurointerventional services.
• Work with world-class neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary teams within UCSF Health.
• Balance clinical and administrative responsibilities in inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care.
• Grow leadership through a structured APP career ladder and mentorship.
• Participate in and lead education, training, and mentorship for newer APPs.
• Contribute to development and advancement of neurosurgical APP practice across the organization.
