Job summary
UC Davis Health’s Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide independent, advanced-level clinical expertise for patients and families. The NP will manage chronic conditions, provide routine and acute care, and support specialized protocols including chemotherapy under standardized procedures or licensure.

Qualifications
- California Registered Nurse License without restriction is required.
- California NP Furnishing License is required.
- DEA certificate within 3 months of hire.
- AHA/Red Cross BLS or UC Davis Health CPR is required.
- ACLS certification is required.
- National NP board certification in aligned specialty is required.
- Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing is required.
- Completion of a neurosurgery or neurocritical care APP fellowship program is required.
- At least 1 year of neurosurgery and/or neurocritical care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clinical practice constitutes 90% of duties.
- Other professional activity constitutes 10% of duties.
