Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care in a neurosurgery unit, handling cranial/spinal procedures, stroke, and neurological conditions.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care per nursing standards, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans and ensure seamless communication across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher education.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards.
• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team; ensure effective communication across the continuum of care.
• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, culture, and spiritual considerations.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a safety-sensitive approach, working in a constant state of alertness to ensure safe care delivery.
