Job summary

StaffMed Health Partners seeks a Neurosurgery NP/PA to join a high-volume neurosurgery service in Ocala, FL. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient care within a Level I Trauma Center setting and includes a mix of cranial and spine cases.

The successful candidate will have prior surgical experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, work with a multidisciplinary neuroscience team, and participate in a shared call schedule.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with prior surgical experience required.
• Join an established neuroscience team of neurosurgeons, APPs, neurointerventionalists, and neurohospitalists.
• Inpatient and outpatient role within a high-volume neurosurgery service 3 operative days per week (≈20% cranial / 80% spine)
• Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures 2 days per week in outpatient clinic with shared call

Responsibilities

• Assist in neurosurgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care with emphasis on spine and cranial cases.
• Participate in neuro-ICU rounds and trauma procedures.
• Coordinate with neurointerventionalists and neurohospitalists to optimize patient flow.
