Job summary
Inova Alexandria Hospital seeks an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join the Neurosurgery team. The role covers daily rounds, inpatient consults, and coordinating care under neurosurgeons, with potential OR assistance and procedures within credentialing scope.

Qualifications
- Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners.
- Physician Assistants: graduate of an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
Responsibilities
- Daily rounds and progress notes for the service.
- Emergency Room and inpatient consults, admissions and discharges.
- Order and interpret labs and radiologic studies.
