AdventHealth is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support Neurosurgery One at Porter and Lakewood. You will split time between Porter & Lakewood, welcome patients, take vitals, document history and allergies, and assist with procedures under supervision.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, BLS/CPR certification, and AHMG-based training or equivalent. Join a team that values high-quality care and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience
• BLS/CPR certification required or in progress
• AHMG/Medical Assistant training or equivalent considered

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient schedules and prepares exam rooms, records vital signs, patient history and allergies following nursing protocols.
• Assists physicians with examinations and procedures, communicates clearly to ensure quality care, and administers medications as directed.
• Maintains nursing supplies and equipment, supports daily clinic operations, and ensures adherence to regulatory and patient service standards.
