Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; equivalent combination of experience, education, certification may be accepted.
• 2+ years of lab experience, including student experience.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in lab methods and equipment functions for investigations.
• Troubleshoot problems and propose solutions.
• Assist in evaluating research methods and techniques.
• May perform small animal surgery.
• Perform cell cultures.
• Provide basic assistance to researchers in data manipulation and analysis using statistical software.
• Assist with writing IRB protocols.
• Assist in training lab students and volunteers.
• Other duties as assigned.
