StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a well-established healthcare system in the Rio Grande Valley to recruit a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon for a full-time opportunity in Harlingen, Texas.

This role offers immediate patient volume, advanced surgical resources, and a fully integrated neuroscience team at a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, with a mix of spine and cranial cases and dedicated OR time.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Case mix of approximately 60% spine and 40% cranial.
• Practice supported by Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and 14-bed Neuro ICU.
• Immediate patient volume with regional demand and growth potential.
• Approximately 2 clinic days per week with 15–20 patients per day; OR time as needed.
• Dedicated Certified First Assist in the OR.
• Advanced surgical technology including Brainlab, AIRO, and da Vinci robotics.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurosurgical care within a comprehensive neuroscience team.
• Participate in clinic and operating room scheduling and coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with endovascular neurologists, neurohospitalists, and physiatrists.
