Job summary

University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support daily operations of neurosurgery clinical trials at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix. You will help implement protocols, manage timelines, enroll participants, and collect data for multicenter studies.

Required: Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience. Preferred: Phlebotomy/IATA, bilingual Spanish/English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Three years of relevant work experience in clinical research.
Familiarity with IRB processes and regulatory compliance.
Preferred: Phlebotomy/IATA certification; bilingual Spanish/English; experience with multi-center trials.

Responsibilities

Recruit study eligibility screening, obtain informed consent, and enroll participants per IRB-approved protocols.
Coordinate study treatments, assessments, and monitoring; ensure participant compliance and timely visits.
Collect, label, process, and ship biological specimens per IATA requirements.
Perform data collection from EHRs and patient interactions; maintain study records.
Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and support study enrollment growth.
Maintain regulatory compliance with federal human subject research rules and ongoing training.
