Job summary

Froedtert South, Inc. Pleasant Prairie, WI, is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neurosurgery Clinic. You will provide ongoing outpatient care, triage by phone, educate patients and coordinate with physicians, all with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• ADN is required to apply.
• Current RN license or eligibility to practice in Wisconsin and/or Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Assess patient needs and use clinical judgment to determine care and follow-up.
• Triage patient concerns by phone and direct to appropriate level of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding their care and health needs.
• Facilitate diagnostic testing and follow-up care as ordered by physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in various situations.
• Collaborate with providers and healthcare team to support safe, high-quality patient care.
