Job summary

Memorial Neuroscience Institute is expanding its surgical neuro-oncology and skull-base services in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeking a BE/BC neurosurgeon to join a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will collaborate with adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, and medical neurologists. Fellowship in neurosurgical-oncology or skull base is preferred, and general neurosurgery call is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible neurosurgeon in the field of neurosurgery.
• Fellowship in Neurosurgical-oncology or skull base preferred.
• Experience with adult and pediatric neurosurgical cases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical neuro-oncology and skull-base services as part of Memorial Neuroscience Institute.
• Join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons and neurointerventionalists.
• Participate in general neurosurgery call and contribute to a comprehensive care program.

Job description

The Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Healthcare System is looking to expand its surgical neuro-oncology and skull-based services by adding an additional BE/BC neurosurgeon to its team. Those with training, special interest and/or expertise in cranial surgery are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a team of adult and pediatric neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, medical neurologists with dedicated areas of expertise and a team of clinical mid-level professionals. General neurosurgery call is required. Fellowship in Neurosurgical-oncology or skull base is preferred.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
